Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH)

Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH)

Kisumu Goodwill Street Children Foundation (KGSCF) places a significant focus on Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health (ASRH) as a core component of our health initiatives. Our comprehensive ASRH program encompasses a range of interventions tailored to address the unique needs and challenges faced by adolescents and youths. In addition to providing vital information and services related to sexual and reproductive health, including preventive measures for STIs, HIV, and other communicable diseases, our program also addresses critical issues such as Mental Health, Alcohol Drugs & Substance Abuse (ADSA), and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention, response, and mitigation. As part of our commitment to promoting health and well-being among adolescents, we spearhead the "Sanitary Pads for Every Girl" initiative, which aims to empower adolescent girls by ensuring access to menstrual hygiene products, reproductive health education, and supportive mentorship. Through this holistic approach, we strive to not only safeguard the sexual and reproductive rights of adolescents but also promote their overall empowerment and well-being, enabling them to step into their potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
