Kisumu Goodwill Street Children Foundation [KGSCF] is a community based organization registered under the ministry of labor and social security services in Kisumu County of Kenya. The organization was founded in the year November 2017 by men and women from diverse professional and cultural background who came together with a common commitment to influence positive changes in the lives of street children. We recognized that Street children are among world’s most marginalized populations facing systemic discrimination, are at a higher risk of being harmed and are denied a voice. KGSCF has evolved since 2017 into a dynamic organization that is actively preventing the children and adolescent youth from the poor urban slums and rural communities from getting into street life while rehabilitating and integrating the children who are either already in the streets or are street-connected.
To take proactive action in preventing street life and mitigate impacts of related health problems by providing wholesome health and livelihood support, treatment and after-care interventions, rehabilitation, family unification and reintegration into schools and community to children either at risk of living or actually living and working in the streets.
